A place where knowledge is preserved, shared, and explored by the community.
The Bhim Library was established in Bikram Sambat 2024 by integrating the Tripura Library established in Bikram Sambat 2010 and the Bhairav Library established in Bikram Sambat 2014. After Gyan Krishna Shrestha of Dokchhe Tole donated 25 square meters of land in the name of his father Hasta Bahadur Shrestha, the insufficient land was taken from Hark Bahadur Shrestha and with the help of Kalinchowk Youth Club Rs. 10,000.-, the building was built at the present location in 2032. This library was registered at the District Education Office, Dolakha on 19 Magh 2030 and at the District Administration Office, Dolakha on 16 Poush 2046. This library was closed after the building collapsed in the earthquake of 2072. Senior engineer Atma Krishna Shrestha, a social worker, reconstructed the building in the name of Rupa Foundation with his own investment and handed it over to Bhimeshwor Municipality, Ward No. 2 in Jestha 2081. The library has been operating regularly since the library building was inaugurated on 27th Paush 2081.
